TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a waterproofing material that meets GOTS certification standards. Unlike PVC or vinyl, it contains no chlorine, phthalates, or harmful plasticizers.
Is it machine washable?
Yes. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
Does this fit a standard crib mattress?
Yes. It fits standard crib and toddler mattresses (approximately 28” × 52”).
Do I put a sheet over it?
Yes. Place a fitted crib or toddler sheet on top as usual.
Is it too thick for infants?
This pad is designed for toddlers 12 months and older. For infants, use the Jersey Crib Protector Pad which is thinner and less likely to create surface softness concerns.
What makes it different from the jersey protector pad?
The quilted pad is thicker and adds a layer of comfort for older toddlers. The jersey protector is ultra-thin and silent — better suited for infants where firmness matters most.

Naturepedic warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase. Naturepedic will repair or replace, at its discretion, any product found to be defective within the warranty period.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, fading, pilling, shrinkage, damage from improper washing or care, or products that have been resold or are not owned by the original purchaser.
