The Beautyrest Black® Mattress Foundation is a solid steel, non-flexing base engineered to match and support your Beautyrest Black® mattress. Choose the 9" standard profile for a traditional bed height, or the 5.5" low profile for a lower, more modern look and easier moves through tight stairways. Both heights are backed by Beautyrest's 10-Year Limited Warranty.

A Beautyrest Black® mattress is engineered around individually wrapped coils that move independently. That only works if what's underneath stays perfectly still — which is exactly what this foundation does. Solid steel struts create a rigid, non-flexing platform, so the coils do the responding and the base does the supporting.
The quilted border fabric is finished to match the look of your Beautyrest Black® mattress, so the set reads as one piece rather than a mattress sitting on a mismatched box.
The traditional choice. Adds height to the bed for a classic, substantial look and an easier sit-down and stand-up. Pick this if you're replacing a standard box spring and want the bed to sit at the same height as before.
Same support, 3.5" less height. Pick this if you have a thick mattress, a tall bed frame or a low headboard and don't want the bed towering — or if a narrow stairway or tight doorway makes a full-height foundation hard to get into the room.
King and Cal King ship as two matching foundations that sit side by side under a single mattress. Both also work under a Split King or Split Cal King set.
This foundation needs a supporting frame underneath — a standard metal bed frame, a platform frame or a traditional base. Queen and larger sizes should be used with a frame that includes center support running to the floor.
It is a flat, stationary foundation. If you want head and foot articulation, choose a Beautyrest® adjustable base instead — a foundation and an adjustable base do the same job of supporting the mattress, so you only need one.
Your Beautyrest® foundation comes with a 10-Year Limited Warranty, and is not manufactured with fiberglass. Using a matching foundation is also the simplest way to keep your mattress properly supported over its life — a sagging or flexing base is one of the most common causes of premature mattress wear.
Your adjustable base is warranted by the manufacturer against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase to the original Purchaser. During such time, the manufacturer will repair or replace, at no cost to the original Purchaser, any warranted part(s)* found to be defective by the manufacturer, in its sole discretion. This includes all pre-authorized labor and transportation costs incurred with the repair or replacement of any part found to be defective.
During year 3 through 5 from the original purchase date, the manufacturer will replace any part on the adjustable base found to be defective by the manfacturer, to the original Purchaser. The manufacturer’s liability is limited to the replacement of the defective electrical/mechanical part(s)* ONLY with the Purchaser responsible for all service, installation, and transportation cost of said part(s).
Notwithstanding the above, the manufacturer extends a 10-year warranty on mechanical base parts found to be defective on a limited basis as defined herein. Specifically, the manufacturer warrants that for a full 10 years from the commencement date of this warranty, any defect in the workmanship or the materials used shall be covered. For purposes of this 10-year warranty, it specifically excludes the cover, shroud, platform, legs, actuator lift motors, massage motors, control box, remote controls, power supply, and all power supply cords. The purchaser shall pay 1/5 of the current MSRP of the replacement part, or the entire adjustable base if deemed irreparable at the sole discretion of the manufacturer, multiplied by the number of years after the fifth year from the original purchase date. The manufacturer’s liability shall be limited to the replacement of the defective part(s) ONLY with the purchaser responsible for all service, installation and freight costs for said part. This warranty does not apply to floor models.
