Sealy Ease Adjustable Base VS Leggett & Platt Signature Adjustable Base Comparison

Sealy Ease Adjustable Base VS Leggett & Platt Signature Adjustable Base Comparison

The Sealy Ease adjustable base and the Leggett & Platt Signature are two bases that you could easily put side by side. When shopping for a big purchase, it can be very hard to decide between all the different options. We are going to try and make that easy for you with today’s comparison of these two bases.

The Sealy Ease adjustable base is going to give you everything you need at an average price point for the category. The features are a bit slim, but the ones that are included, you will really benefit from. The first obvious feature is the wireless remote. From the remote you have access to the ergonomic positions, as well as a ‘One-Touch Flat’ button that will return the bed to the standard position. There is an LED light on the remote, but it doesn’t seem like it will make a huge difference in a very dark room. The Ease fits in many standard be frames, has 9” metal legs and works with most mattresses.

The Leggett & Platt has some impressive features too, although they seem quite different from the Ease. The remote on the Signature is wireless and features a stand-up design that lets you keep it easily on a nightstand, while also have the keys backlit. The options are the similar to the Ease and has the one-touch flat feature. The weight limit on the Signature is 700lbs for a queen. 50lbs higher than what the Ease offers. The legs on the Signature are 4” with casters on the bottom.

Both adjustable bases feature a retainer bar in the same location. The warranty looks to be 10 years longer on the Leggett & Platt Falcon. A 1-3-25 Year Limited Warranty is included. The first year is a full warranty, years 2 and 3 are limited warranty and year 4 to 25 are a different limited warranty. The Sealy Ease has a 15-year prorated warranty that covers parts and labor associated with servicing the adjustable base for the first year, parts are covered for up to 5 years from the date of purchase, and the remainder of the warranty covers the frame against manufacturers defects.

At the end of the day the Signature is $200 more for a longer warranty, a remote with more features and a higher weight limit.
