Leggett & Platt Falcon Adjustable Bed vs Falcon 2.0+ Adjustable Bed Comparison

Leggett & Platt Falcon Adjustable Bed vs Falcon 2.0+ Adjustable Bed Comparison

Leggett & Platt Falcon 2.0+ adjustable bed is now available. This is an update to the Falcon adjustable bed that was previously available. When a company brings out a new model, the first thing that most people do is compare what is different. We are going to save you the time and effort and make a quick and easy list of what has changed and what has stayed the same.

The 2” low-profile foundation-style frame has stayed the same. The compressed frame was designed to withhold a significant amount of weight, without being extremely heavy. Head and foot articulation is still an effortless feat that allows you to find your favorite position for sleeping or just lounging. The emergency power down system is present as well, ensuring that your bed will return to the flat position if the power happens to go out. The 1-3-25 year warranty remains the same and still has impressive coverage.

Changes to the Falcon

Time to get to the changes and there are quite a few on the Falcon 2.0+. Adjustable legs have been expanded to 2.5” in diameter and can be adjusted from 6” to 10” in height. The lift capacity of the bed has been raised from 800lbs to 850lbs. The original Falcon always had a higher weight capacity than others on the market, so it is interesting to see it raised even more.

Falcon 2.0+ Under-Bed Light

Some of the new features include an under-bed light, a feature that you probably wouldn’t consider in your purchase, but will grow to love. The under-bed light will illuminate the floor enough for you to see, but not to an extent that will wake up your partner.

Falcon 2.0+ Wireless Remote

The wireless remote has changed slightly. A one touch flat button has been included on the remote, giving you quick access to the flat position. Wireless syncing between split bases is now available. You will no longer have to worry about a sync cable and have the ability to control both of the bases with one remote.

The changes to the  Leggett & Platt Falcon adjustable bed were not a requirement. This was not something that needed to be done, as the bed was quite popular on its own. Leggett & Platt wanted to include some of their best features on all of their bases. A prime example of a company looking out for the customers needs.
