Keep Your Eye Out for This Exciting New-Comer
Ergomotion, a global leader in adjustable base design and manufacturing, has introduced its newest base, the Quest Connect. This base is the first in a line of smart bed bases that sync seamlessly with smart home technology to provide an endless variation of automations so that you can enjoy the best in sleep and home technology joined together.
The Quest Connect can function across your entire home and work with it to instruct the coffee maker to start brewing at the first sign of waking, start warming the shower, or signal blinds to open when you start to stir. This new line and the company’s Universal Smart Home Connected Bed app debuted at the 2021 Las Vegas Winter Market, the leading trade event for furniture, gifts, home décor, mattress, adjustable base, and apparel industries.
There, Ergomotion provided a combination show experience that included both in-person and virtual product demonstrations that showcased how the base can make your bedroom a hub for your connected home experience.
Available in twin, queen, and king sizes, the base offers a quick access remote and built-in custom presets. You’ll find a lift up to wake feature that includes a silent alarm, which raises the head of the bed in the morning to help you get your day started right. The base is also armed with anti-snore technology through the Quiet Nite app. The base and others in the upcoming line are designed with cloud-based, smart home automation features that use IFTTT (If That Then This) applets, functionality which connects two or more apps or devices together.
Johnny Griggs, chief operating officer at Ergomotion, is quoted wit saying “Ergomotion is creating remarkable products that align with the new era of technology, one that will allow the adjustable bed base category to rise to the occasion and allow consumers to experience sleep inspired by technology. Not only are our [...] bases the ultimate sleep technology solution, but [they] are designed for smart home connectivity, providing both convenience and efficiencies from the moment we wake.”
These smart bases are designed to meet consumers where they are in their adoption of smart home technology and improve everyday wellness. Cloud-based automation allows the user to take control of their sleep and waking hours to be more rested and thereby more productive.
Jason Timmons, director of technology at Ergomotion, said, “Cloud-based automation is evolving daily, and the smart home platform is designed to advance in parallel. We believe this may be the most important sleep technology developed in the past 20 years, and it has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with the future connected home in a dramatic manner.”
The adjustable base becomes the heart of the future connected home’s experience with smart-sleep commands, rejuvenating wake automation, and life-enhancing technology.
The 2021 CES Editor’s Choice Award from USA TODAY, Quest Connect® line is only months away from being available to consumers.
